Limbo Software
Effective date: October 11, 2026
Last updated: October 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Limbo Software ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile applications and related services (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.
Settings, preferences, and learning progress that you create while using an app are stored locally on your device. We do not receive this information.
To deliver downloadable content (such as offline audio or language packs) and to protect it against abuse, each app generates a random, anonymous device identifier on your device. This identifier contains technical values such as an app identifier, platform (Android or iOS), and a schema version. It does not contain your name, email address, advertising ID, hardware serial number, or any other information that directly identifies you. You can reset it by clearing the app's data or reinstalling the app.
When an app downloads content from our servers, we process limited technical information, including the anonymous device identifier, the content package requested, the date and time of the request, the number of downloads made (to apply fair-use limits), and your IP address and basic request metadata, which our infrastructure provider processes to deliver the content and prevent abuse.
Our apps display ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect and use information from your device, such as:
This information is used to serve, measure, and (where permitted and with your consent) personalize ads, and to prevent fraud.
We use Google Firebase services, such as Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, to understand how the apps are used and to fix crashes. These services may collect:
If an error occurs, our servers or third-party tools may record log data such as IP address, device model, operating system version, app version, and the date and time of the event. We use this data only to diagnose and fix problems.
We use the information described above to:
We do not sell your personal information in exchange for money. Advertising and analytics partners process the information described in Section 1 under their own terms, as explained in Section 4.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process information based on your consent (for example, for personalized ads and analytics through advertising and analytics identifiers) and on our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Services. Where required, the app shows a consent form when you first open it, and you can change your choice later from the app's privacy options, where available.
We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Services. They may process information only to perform their tasks, and, where they act on our behalf, are obligated not to use it for other purposes.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the security of the Services.
The apps themselves do not use browser cookies. However, third-party SDKs such as AdMob and Firebase use device identifiers and similar technologies (for example, advertising IDs and app instance IDs) for the purposes described above. Our website may use only the minimal cookies needed for it to function. You can refuse cookies in your browser settings, although some features may then not work.
Opting out of personalized ads does not remove ads; it means the ads you see will be less relevant to you.
Our own download and log records are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above (generally no longer than 12 months), and then deleted or anonymized. Data processed by Google AdMob and Firebase is retained according to their settings and policies (Firebase Analytics event data is typically retained for up to 14 months). Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may be kept longer.
We value your trust and use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to our infrastructure, and private storage for our content. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our infrastructure and service providers operate globally, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to processing or withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we use only an anonymous device identifier, we may ask you to provide that identifier so we can locate related records. To exercise your rights, contact us at the address in Section 13.
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. We do not knowingly show personalized ads to children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services, including ads. We do not operate them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies before providing any information.
